YOUTH
That the communication of my faith may become effectual by the acknowledging
of every good thing which is in me in Christ Jesus (Phile. 1:6), I confess that:
I seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matt. 6:33) and
receive
good gifts from Him (Matt. 7:11). I am a disciple taught of the Lord and great
is my peace (Isa. 54:13). I love the Lord with all my heart, and with all my
soul,
and with all my might (Deut. 6:4-9; 11:18-20).
Because I observe and do all God's Word, I am prosperous (Josh. 1:8).
I deal wisely and have good success, and walk in divine health (Prov.
4:20-24).
Because I have been trained in the way I should go, I do not depart from it (Prov.
22:6)
.
My parents love and discipline me (Prov. 13:24). I obey my parents in the Lord
(as His
representative) for this is just and right. I honor, esteem and value them as
precious;
and all is well with me and I will live long on the earth (if Jesus tarries)
(Eph. 6:1-3).
My parents do not irritate and provoke me-do not exasperate me to
resentment-but rear me
tenderly in the training and discipline and the counsel and admonition of the
Lord (Eph. 6:4).
I give my parents rest and delight them (Prov. 29:17).
I prosper and am in health as my soul prospers (III ]n. 2). God supplies all
my needs (Phil. 4:19).
I have the wisdom of the Lord (/as. 1:16). I abound in love toward all (I
Thes. 3:12).
The fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness,
and self-control shine forth from me (Gal. 5:22, 23).
I do all things without grumbling and faultfinding, complaining and
questioning (Phil. 2:14).
I shun youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace (II
Tim. 2:22) in Jesus' name.
